NFC Fertilizer Public Company Limited,NFC is committed to developing the agriculture sector and redressing the dependency on imported fertilizer products. The goverment cabinet of General Prem Tinsulanonda the former Prime Minister, had the resolution to establish the National Fertilizer Public Company Limiter in 1982 and rename to NFC Fertilizer Public Company Limited. Even though NFC's structure has partly reformed, the company devotes to the production of good chemical fertilizer at reasonableprices,providing training and education for Thai farmers as our company's important policy.

It is well know that agriculture remains the driving force behind the Thai economy. As with any industry, implementing the right technology is essential in order to maximize peoductivity. For the agricultural sector, the key to successful production lies in the availability and the correct use of chemical fertilizers. However, Thai farmers have been reluctant to take advantage of this technology because of the price of chemical fertilizers in Thailand is higher than it should be. This is because market prices are determined by foreign imports. Therefore, Thai farmers and the agricultural sector as a whole cannot operate independently. The resulting instability in price, quality control and supply combined with the loss of revenue due to foreign exchange rates does not bode well for the Thai economy in both the long and short term.

NFC Fertilizer's production plant utilizes some of the world's most advanced technology, which is able to produce a higher quality of fertilizers from basic raw materials.Phosphate Rock and Sulphuric acid are fed and reacted in the reactor tank in Phosphuric Acid plant. The outputs are, firstly, Phosphuric Acid. Secondly, Calphosplus which can be used as a conditioner to rehabilitate soil fertility and neutralize acidity soil. The Calphosplus will be packaged for sale under the brand of "Ma-nud Din"(Earth Man).While the phosphuric Acid is forwared to perform chemical reaction with Ammonia in the pipe reactor to produce Ammonium Phosphate. The Ammonium Phosphate and all solid materials including Potash,Ammonium Sulphate, Urea and other Fillers are measured in conformity with each required grade and dispatched to the granuilator.Inside, the liquid material from the pipe reactor is sparkled and amalgamated together with these solid materials. Heat generated from the slurry liquid that being sprayed expedites conformation toward a homogenous, uniform, and immovably boneded granule. Then, the granule is forwarded for dying and surface coating to prevent caking.After the fertilizer granules are coated, they are stored in tightly sealed plastic bags in a dehumidified atmosphere to prevent deterioration. With these preentive measures, the fertilizer is kept in excellent condition unit it is finally delievered to the farm or field where it will be used. The modern technology production helps us to control the quality, production capital and provide the farmers with a guarantee that they will have standard fertilizers for continued use and readily available for the harvest season. Nonetheless, National Fertilizer has high standard of pollution system and friendly with environment . Thai Environment Institute has issued the certificate of ISO 14001 to the factory.

NFC Fertilizer Public Company Limited,NFC, Former name as National Fertilizer Public Company Limited, was found in accordance to the government policy intending to assist Thai agricultural sector, there by generating extra income and a higher standard of living for Thai farmers. National fertilizer believes in the importance if continuning education for farmers in such matters as restoring soil quaility. A mobile soil analysis vehicle is in operation to provide free sample analysis vehicle is in operation to provide free sample analyses all over the country, and experts from the company's farm education division are on hand to advise on the best methods of improving the quality of soil and using fertilizer efficiency. The company also sponsors meeting for farmers and manages planting demonstration plots for farmers to study.
